Marissa considers herself an overcomer, as she became a young widow, is a domestic violence survivor and is now a wife, mom and step mom to 6 teenagers.

She has her bachelor’s degree in Christian counseling and uses her social media to raise awareness for abuse, while encouraging her followers healing from trauma and grief.

Since 2016 Her career in home health care has allowed her to serve patients on hospice care as a nurse aide.
For fun she enjoys outdoor adventures like camping and hiking or cruising backroads to country music and admiring Oklahoma’s beautiful sunsets and kayaking on the lake.
